God's Dwelling Place Today

Where does God Dwell - LIVE!
PART 1
God Dwelleth not in Temples made with Hands

You won't find God in any religious organisations constructed by men because he does not frequent those places, he does not hang around in them, he does not attend them, he has nothing to do with them.

Acts 7:48,49
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Acts 17:24,25
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

A temple is any religious structure built by the work of men's hands. In addition to churches and cathedrals, religious organisations are man-made structures built by the work of men's hands. Is a religion a work of men's hands? Certainly. Is a church, or group, or denomination a work of men's hands? Unquestionably. They have all been built by men. Does God dwell in temples made with hands? Certainly not, and that includes the Roman Catholic church as much as it does the Muslim religion, the Way International, the Hindu religion, the Salvation Army, or any other denomination, ministry or religion. They have all been built by men.

Jesus Christ's biggest challenges came from the organised churches of his day, and it was the religious leaders who had him murdered by the Romans. You cannot and will not defeat the devil by constructing more churches made with hands. You will not find God in any church, organised religion, centrally controlled group, denomination or ministry, because God dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

Where does God Dwell - LIVE!
PART 2

So where does God dwell today then? If it isn't in religions, groups, ministries, churches, temples or other works of men's hands, where is it? The woman at Jacob's well asked Jesus Christ this very question. Let's go and meet this woman.

John 4:5,6
Then cometh he [Jesus Christ] to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

This is what you call living life. Jesus Christ had been travelling and he was tired, so he sat himself down for a rest. The disciples had gone into a nearby town to get some lunch, so he was on his own, enjoying the day. One interesting point here is that Jesus Christ was tired. Does God ever get tired? Nope, so Jesus Christ wasn't God then, was he? Then along came one of the women from the nearby town.

John 4:7-9
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, [Judean] askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews [Judeans] have no dealings with the Samaritans.

The woman was surprised. She was accustomed to Judeans ignoring her because they considered Samaritans half breeds. She had grown up with this Judean attitude, and yet here was this Judean man speaking to her.

John 4:10
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Jesus Christ obviously enjoyed talking to people, even if they were half breeds. He had no hang ups about people, no prejudices, no bigotry. He even spoke to Samaritans.

John 4:11-15
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

The woman wanted this living water Jesus Christ was offering. Living water is mentioned in Jeremiah, and this is worth exploring.

Jeremiah 2:13
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

The living waters in Jeremiah refer to God, who is the fountain of living waters, therefore the living waters Jesus Christ referred to was a reference to something spiritual. In Jeremiah's time, people had forsaken the fountain of living waters and hewed them out man-made cisterns. A cistern is something man makes to hold water. If our supply is God, a living fountain, there is no requirement for a cistern, as a fountain has an endless supply. Men hew out cisterns because they do not believe God will supply all their need. Consequently, they turn their backs on the fountain and hew out for themselves cisterns - they build churches, ministries, religions and organisations to contain their religion. They put their trust in the work of their own hands rather than in the living God.

Not only are cisterns limited in their supply, man-made spiritual cisterns are broken, they are not capable of holding any living water, any spiritual power. Religions, churches, denominations and organisational ministries are all cisterns, man-made cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no living water. Any flowing of living waters, any manifestations of holy spirit they once energised will eventually leak out until all that is left is dry religious ceremony. That is why God dwelleth not in temples made with hands. You will not find God in any religion, church, ministry, or religious organisation for they are all broken cisterns. If you want to find the unlimited supply of living waters, forget about cisterns, all of them, for they are broken and they leak.

Jesus Christ made another reference to living water in the gospel of John, where he was clearly referring to manifestations of holy spirit.

John 7:38,39
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

(But this spake he of the Spirit [spirit], which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost [holy spirit] was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

This fits with what Jesus Christ was teaching the woman at the well. He offered her living water, which he knew he had come to make available, and it was a reference to the future gift of holy spirit which we now know came on the day of Pentecost. Jesus Christ then changed the subject.

John 4:16-19
Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Now that Jesus Christ had her attention, she asked him the one question that was burning in her heart.

John 4:20
Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

The woman wanted to know where she could worship God. She wanted a personal relationship with him. The Judeans taught her that you found God in their temple at Jerusalem. Her people taught her that she had to go up to the pagan temples on the tops of the mountains. Doesn't this sound just like religion today? Join this group, join that group, join this religion, join that religion, join this ministry, join that ministry, right? It's all bullshit. You don't have to join any ministry or church to find God. You can find him anywhere, yet miss him everywhere. He's right where you are now, and you will discover and learn of him in the pages of the bible. You don't have to go to any church or group or ministry or religion to find God, just learn to read your bible.

John 4:21-24
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews [Judeans].

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

This woman wanted to find God. She wondered if the temple in Jerusalem was the place to go, or up to the temples built on the hilltops. Jesus Christ told her to forget both because the Father desired people who would worship him in spirit and in truth, a reference to manifestations of holy spirit. This same truth is very relevant today. If you want to find God, forget about churches, ministries, organisations, religions and temples. God dwelleth not in temples made with hands. If you want to worship God, you can only worship him in spirit and in truth, truthfully by way of spirit, and that does not involve performing weekly ceremonies inside religious buildings or ministries. Stay away from churches and groups and religions and ministries, no matter how much truth they claim to have, for God dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

Where does God Dwell - LIVE!
PART 3

If any church, ministry, organisation, religion or group offers to teach you how to worship God in spirit and in truth only on condition you join them and give them your money, it is a bribe. Both God and Jesus Christ gave the word unconditionally, without charge. Yes, folks gave of their finances to support Jesus Christ during his ministry, but it was not on condition of getting the word in return, it was a thankful response to being taught the word free of charge.

In answer to the woman's question, Jesus Christ told her to forget about churches, all of them, because God was looking for people to worship him in spirit and in truth. What does that mean? Well obviously you cannot worship God by attending religious meetings, going to church, performing ceremonies, singing songs, going to prayer meetings, lighting candles, or reading bible verses. If you want to worship God, you must worship him in spirit and in truth, you must learn to walk by the spirit and that is not something that comes by going to church, joining ministries or groups, or leaving one religion to join another. I don't care what religion you are, or what group or ministry you are a part of, you can speak in tongues and learn to walk by the spirit right now right where you are. God dwelleth not in temples made with hands. He used to, but not anymore.

Back in the old testament, God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle, a tent in which he could live among his people. Looking back it is easy to see that the tabernacle was a temporary residence, a temporary home.

Exodus 29:44-46
And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.

And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.

After the tabernacle was built, God moved in.

Exodus 40:34,35
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

God has always desired with great longing to live among his people. His heart bursts to be with us, to have fellowship with us, and the tabernacle was a first step towards that reality. Later, Solomon built the temple, and with the coming of the greater, the lesser was no longer necessary. After the building of the temple, God moved home, he moved out of the tabernacle and into the temple, and that became his new home among his people.

1 Kings 8:2-11
And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

This is the record where God moved into his new home. However, Solomon's temple was also temporary accommodation. It was not God's permanent home among his people, and later he would move house again. In this Administration of Grace, since the day of Pentecost, God no longer dwells, God no longer lives, God no longer resides in temples made with hands. On the day of Pentecost, God moved house. Neither the tabernacle nor the temple sufficed to contain him, neither afforded the home comforts, the companionship and love he so desired. They were provisional arrangements, temporary accommodation until a permanent home became available.

A basic understanding of the overall structure of the temple affords us a few clues in our search for God's dwelling place. The temple was basically divided into three separate areas. There was the court of the Gentiles, which was where Jesus Christ turned over the tables of the crooked merchants and drove out their animals. Another part consisted of the sacred courts for Judeans only, which Gentiles were not permitted to enter. The third part was the Holy of Holies, where God resided, and into which only the High Priest entered once a year. These three separate areas were divided off with walls and veils. Ephesians teaches us what Jesus Christ accomplished regarding these divisions between the Gentiles, the Judeans, and God.

Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Those who were far off refers to the Gentiles mentioned in verses 11 and 12, who were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers from the covenants of promise, and who were without hope and without God in the world. The blood of Jesus Christ brought the Gentiles nigh, close, next of kin to God.

Ephesians 2:14
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

The middle wall of partition refers to the wall separating the court of the Gentiles from the sacred courts of the Judeans in the temple. As well as figuratively, at his death there was an earthquake which literally destroyed this wall separating the Gentiles from the Judeans. Jesus Christ broke that wall down. That's why he is our peace.

Ephesians 2:15
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Jesus Christ made of two one new man, the two being the Gentiles and the Judeans. Of these two, Jesus Christ made one new man, and that's how he made peace between us. He abolished that enmity between Judeans and Gentiles in his flesh, referring to the price he paid in giving his life.

Ephesians 2:16
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

The price Jesus Christ paid by way of his death reconciled both Judeans and Gentiles to God in that one body, that new man he had made of the two. The enmity was slain, destroyed, it no longer existed.

At the same time as the wall of separation between the Gentiles and the Judeans was broken down, the veil separating all of us from God in the Holy of Holies was torn from the top to the bottom.

Mark 15:38
And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

As well as the walls of separation, the earthquake tore the veil, signifying that the way back to God was now open to all men, whether Judean or Gentile.

Where does God Dwell - LIVE!
PART 4

What man had lost in Adam back in Genesis had been regained by Jesus Christ. Man had been reconciled back to God.

Ephesians 2:17,18
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Through Jesus Christ, both Judeans and Gentiles have access by one spirit unto the Father, our heavenly Father, God.

Ephesians 2:19-21
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

In contrast to Solomon's temple, which was made of stone, we are now all builded together as a holy temple, a permanent home for God through the spirit. It is the spirit, that gift of holy spirit we receive at the time of the new birth, that is our eternal life. God now lives in us through the gift of holy spirit. We are God's permanent home. God no longer dwells in temples made with hands, he lives within those of us who have his spirit.

There is only one building God lives in now in the 21st Century, and it is not any temple made with hands, it is not any man-made ministry, group, or religion, it is within those of us who are born again of his spirit, those of us who are his children. We make up the household of God. The household of God is not a ministry or a church building, because God dwelleth not in temples made with hands, and they are all the work of men's hands. We, his children, are the temple, the house, the home of the living God, and we are not temporary accommodation, we are his for eternity.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

2 Corinthians 6:16
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ephesians 2:22
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

It is an interesting phenomenon that most folks in religions and churches around the world think they are right, that they are in what they believe to be the true household of God. Quite how the devil instils this insipid lie into people is really brilliant. The vatican believes it is the only true church on earth, and the pope and the jesuits are committed to exterminating everyone on earth who is not one of them. All other christians regard themselves as right. Muslims believe they are the only true followers of God on earth. Buddhists believe they have found the true way to God. Jehovah's witnesses, a particularly insipid brand of religion, believe they are the only true way to God. Mormons believe they are the only true church on earth. The Way International believes it is the only true household of God and instils that lie into its followers. Folks, God dwelleth not in temples made with hands, they are all broken cisterns, they all leak. If God does not live in them, how can they be a source of living waters?

The good news is, God does not want you to leave one religion or church and join another. What he wants you to do is enjoy his endless supply of living waters. Forget ceremonies and rituals, forget going to church and making a fool of yourself. God isn't there anyway, so going to them is a waste of time. Constructing churches over the graves of once energised ministers is how the devil destroys the word they stood for.

God does not live in the vatican. God does not live in any christian church or denomination. God does not live in the Muslim religion. God does not live in the jehovah's witnesses. God does not live in the mormon church. God does not live in the Hindu religion. God does not live in the way international. These religions may teach they are the only true way on earth, but they are liars, for God in his word teaches that he does not dwell in temples made with hands. Regardless of which religion you are in or where you live in the world, you can have fellowship with God right now right where you are by worshipping him in spirit and in truth.

Acts 17:24
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

It is clear in scripture that God did at one time live in temples made with hands, but it is also abundantly clear in scripture that God moved home on the day of Pentecost when the age of Grace was ushered in. Where is his home now? Where does God live now?

1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We need to take a second look at this. Here in Corinthians, these believers are referred to as the temple of God. We know that God dwelleth not in temples made with hands, so we can assuredly and categorically state that this temple referred to here is not any temple made with hands. This temple is most definitely and absolutely not any ecclesiastical structure, ministry, church, religion or organisation which has been built by men. The spirit of God no longer lives in temples made with hands, so no ministry, church, religion or organisation can claim to be the temple of God, the church of God, or the household of God.
When we are born again and receive the gift of holy spirit, God moves into us. That's right, God now lives inside you and me. God now lives in people, not in temples made with hands.
Here, a group of people are collectively called the temple of God. What group is this? Who are these people? Who is this addressed to? This is a good question, because it brings us to another extremely important key to the bible's interpretation. The bible interprets itself, yes, but we must apply keys to unlock that interpretation. We already know that we must understand the administrations in the bible so we can properly apply scripture written during each administration, as well as a few other keys, but we must also know to whom certain books of the bible are addressed. Not everything in the bible is addressed to everyone. If you read the bible thinking it is all addressed to you, major problems in understanding await to assail you. For example, take these verses in Romans.

Romans 8:38,39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature [creation], shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 11:22
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

According to Romans 8, nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our lord, not even death, yet three chapters later Romans states that if I'm not careful I'm going to be cut off. Most waggle their fingers at this and call the bible contradictory, but in reality all they do is publicly display their ignorance.

Men have different classifications for men and divide humanity into many groups, like nationality and culture, race and religion, but God only divides men into three general categories. Let's examine them.

1 Corinthians 10:32
Give none offence, neither to the Jews [Judeans], nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Here Corinthians succinctly places all men into just three categories. According to God, every single human being on the planet is either a Judean, a Gentile, or part of the church of God. That's it. That is God's classification of men. Either we are Judeans, Gentiles, or church of God. According to Ephesians, the church of God is made up of both Judeans and Gentiles who have received the gift of holy spirit. This definition clearly and unquestionably exposes any ministry or group or religion that claims to be the church of God as liars. The church of God, by definition, comprises men and women called out from both Judeans and Gentiles who have been born again and who have received power from on high, the gift of holy spirit. Anyone who has Christ in them is part of the church of God, the ekklēsia, the called out of God.
By definition and by scripture, ecclesiastical and religious structures built by men which claim to be the church of God are liars. God dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

Galatians 5:1-4
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace.

Being entangled in law or even in a patriarchal religious ministry made with hands is something God commands us to avoid.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Here, the church of God comprising those who are born again and have the gift of holy spirit is referred to as the temple of God. Elsewhere in the epistles, individuals are occasionally referred to as tabernacles.

2 Corinthians 5:4
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

The temple of God comprises those who are born again, those who have the gift of holy spirit, those with Christ in them, called out from among both Judeans and Gentiles.
God now lives in each of us. We all have the spirit of God living within us, and together we make up the church of God, the ekklēsia of God. The church is not to construct any more temples made with hands, it is to meet in people's homes. In this administration of Grace, God wants his people meeting in home churches, well away from temples made with hands. This is made remarkably clear in Romans through Thessalonians, the scriptures addressed to the church of God.

Romans 16:5
Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

1 Corinthians 16:19
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Colossians 4:15
Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

Philemon 1:2
And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

Acts 9:31
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost [pistis - holy spirit], were multiplied.

Acts 15:41
And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

God wants to hang out with us, fellowship with us, enjoy our company with us in our homes. The centre of outreach in the 1st Century was not some centralised ministry headquarters where everyone sent all their money to support a patriarchal hierarchy, it was in folk's homes. God lives in us, we are his church making up the temple of God, and he wants us to teach and minister in our homes well away from suffocating patriarchal temples of men. Get away from them for they do not walk by the spirit, but by worldly senses wisdom they seek through councils of men. Find a home church where people speak in tongues, walk by the spirit, and operate the power of God.

Prayer in the Epistles/Prayer

Prayer in the Epistles
Prayer is very important to God.  Many have taught about what prayer is and how prayers ought to be offered to God.  Some have looked at the prayers of men and women in the Old Testament.  Some have reviewed the prayers of Jesus Christ in the Gospels.  Some have taught that the example of prayer offered by Jesus Christ to his Judean followers ought to be "the prayer" offered by his followers today.  Some have looked at the prayers of the Book of Acts.  Some have examined the prayers in the Epistles. Some have even developed "formulas" for prayer.
When it comes to believing the Word of God, that which is addressed TO US must be applied BY US.  All other scripture is for our learning and can be applied IN LIGHT OF that which is addressed to us.  That which Jesus Christ taught prior to his sacrifice for sins and the giving of holy spirit is of necessity void of that which became ours on the day of Pentecost.  As sons and daughters of God with holy spirit our prayers ought to be offered to our Heavenly Father in light of all that was accomplished by His son Jesus Christ.  We have been given remission of sins.  We have been made righteous in Christ Jesus.  All of our needs are supplied according to God's riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  We have been rescued from the power of darkness and we have been made citizens in God's Kingdom by the work of His beloved son.  To ask God for His Kingdom to come, to ask Him to deliver us from evil, to seek forgiveness based on our forgiveness of others, and to pray for God to supply our daily bread is to ignore that which God has already freely given to us in Christ Jesus.  So what do the Epistles written to us say about prayer?
The "formula" in the Epistles:
Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Prayer is pouring out your soul.  Supplication is making a request for others.
Prayer is to be with thanksgiving.  Prayer is to let your requests be made known unto God.
The Epistles tell us to pray often:
1 Thessalonians 5:17
   Pray without ceasing.
Romans 12:12b
   . . . continuing instant in prayer;
Colossians 4:2a
   Continue in prayer, . . .
The Epistles tell us to pray spiritually:
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Sprit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
1 Corinthians 14:14-15a
For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
What is it then?  I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: . . .
Ephesians 6:18a
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, . . .
The Epistles show how leaders pray for the believers to whom they are ministering:
Romans 1:9b
   . . . that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
Ephesians 1:16
   Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Philippians 1:4
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Colossians 1:3
We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.
Colossians 1:9
   . . . do not cease to pray for you, . . .
Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, . . .
1 Thessalonians 1:2
   We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
These leaders prayed "without ceasing, always", "gave thanks for the believers",  and "made request for the believers."

The Epistles show how believers are to pray for those ministering to them:
2 Thessalonians 3:1
Finally brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
1 Thessalonians 5:25
   Brethren, pray for us.
Colossians 4:3
Withal praying also for us that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also an ambassador in bonds:
Ephesians 6:18-19
   Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
2 Corinthians 1:11a
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, . . .
Romans 15:30
   Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
The context of these prayers are that the believers are praying in order to help men of God move the word of God:  "that the word of the Lord may have free course . . . that I may make known the mystery of the gospel."  We help each other move God's Word when we include requests for the movement of His Word and for the men and women speaking it in our prayers.
Following are some of the requests made in prayer in the Epistles:
Romans 1:10
Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
Romans 15:31
   That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
2 Corinthians 1:11
. . . that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
Ephesians 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him . . .
Ephesians 1:18-19
. . . watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints . . . that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.
Philippians 1:5
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now . . .
Colossians 4:3b-4
. . . that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds; That I may make it manifest as I ought to speak.
Colossians 4:12b
. . . that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
   Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the sight of God and our Father;
1 Thessalonians 3:10
Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
. . . that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:1
. . . that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
The requests of the prayers in the Epistles are not requests for the Kingdom to come, forgiveness, daily bread, money, power, or worldly things.  The requests made in prayer in the Epistles are for the Word of God regarding the revelation of the mystery to be made known.  They are for the goodness and grace of God to be manifested in the believing action of those who walk as members of the one body of Christ "that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God!"

 Prayer:
The Greek word for prayer is the word proseuche.  Proseuche means to pour out the soul.  Prayer is a pouring out of your soul to God.  All of the other aspects of prayer are a part of this one.  Whether you are making intercession, making a request or supplication, giving thanks for God's blessings upon your life, praising God, or just telling God about something,  you are pouring out your soul to God.
I Corinthians 14:15a
What is it then?  I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also;. .
For believers after the day of Pentecost there are two ways to pray: with the spirit and with the understanding.  To pray with the spirit is to speak in tongues.  To pray with the understanding is to pour out your soul to God.  Both are important aspects of a believer's prayer life.
Jesus Christ taught his disciples about (proseuche) prayer:
Matthew 6:5-6
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.  Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Most of the time when you pour out your soul to God it is a very private and personal thing - just you and God.  If you are praying to show others how religious you are - you have your reward.
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Mark 6:46
And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Luke 5:16
And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
Luke 6:12
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Jesus Christ made it a habit to get up early, get away to a solitary place and pour out his soul to God.  We too should find a time when we can get alone with God each day and pray.
Matthew 18:19-20
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Praying together with other believers is also very important.
Matthew 6:7-9a
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
After this manner therefore pray ye:  Our Father which art in heaven . . .
When you pour out your soul to God you are not reciting a rote prayer or rosary.  Your prayer then becomes a vain repetition that means nothing.  It is interesting that in this context Jesus Christ gave them an example of a simple prayer request to God that has become a rote prayer used by most of the Christian churches today.  He was telling them not to make vain repetitious prayers and we have taken his simple example and turned it into a vain repetitious prayer.  Just keep it simple.  You don't have to repeat some rote prayer to be heard by God.
Luke 18:1
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
It is important that we continue in prayer and not quit when our answer does not come immediately.  This is not to say use vain repetitions.  Just don't give up.  If you know that what you are asking will glorify God - keep asking until you get your answer.  George Mueller was a man of God who lived his life relying upon prayer.  Following are some of his words:
I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk, when I lie down, and when I rise. And the answers are always coming. Tens of thousands of times have my prayers been answered. When once I am persuaded that a thing is right, I go on praying for it. The great point is never to give up till the answer comes. The great fault of the children of God is, they do not continue in prayer; they do not persevere. If they desire anything for God's glory, they should pray until they get it.  George Mueller

Mamas don't lets your babies grow up to be HOMOS!

Homosexuality: The Way of Life
Introduction
God warns us that there are those in the world who promote evil as good and good as evil, who replace light with darkness, and who substitute sweet for bitter.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Obviously this is going on in the world otherwise God would not have felt it necessary to warn us about it. Furthermore, it is going on intentionally, deliberately, with full knowledge. Conditioning us to believe that evil is good and good is evil, what the bible refers to in Ephesians as the systematising of error, is the world's modus operandi, the way it works. The devil is the god of this world, so this makes sense. As an example, let us look at homosexuality and compare viewpoints - God's and the world's.

Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Can God's will for homosexuals be any clearer? In the old testament, they were to be executed. Executed? That's right, they were to be stoned to death. That is a harsh penalty. If God commanded his people to stone homosexuals to death, does that mean then that perhaps they are not just nice people enjoying an alternative lifestyle, as the world advocates? Well, God certainly doesn't think so. That is the old testament, what about the new testament?

Romans 1:26-28,32
For this cause God gave them up unto vile [repulsive, repugnant, disgusting, putrid] affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature [lesbians]:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly [homosexuality], and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind [an insane mind - to commit homosexual and lesbian acts is criminally insane], to do those things which are not convenient;

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Verse 32 clearly states that homosexuals and lesbians are worthy of death. That is explicit and clear. What about Jesus Christ then? What did he think? He was all love, right? (stay tuned)!

Homosexuality: The Way of Life
Section TWO
Devil Spirits -- running rampant -- keep the "church" clean: The HOMO trip is straightly an attack on our lives; orchestrated by our adversary! Yes, we never ought to be willing to compromise on truth, yet as ministers of the Word we need to be prepared to offer deliverance to all, in all categories of life, when people want the deliverance. This is by possession of devil spirits, and the Word of deliverance is always the way to freedom. Otherwise put them out of the church, and avoid, and rebuke them sharply. We need be faithful ministers, without compromise, in order to keep the "household" of believers uncontaminated. A little(or lot of in this matter) leaven, leavens the whole lump!
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The god of this world paints evil with a colourful brush, while at the same time painting christianity with a drab brush. How he colours the senses realm in this manner is quite illuminating to observe.
Did you know that most homos and lesbians are recruited when they are drunk? If they had not been drunk, that door would not have opened and they would not have been corrupted. However drunkenness isn't forced on us, it is something we open our minds to by our own freedom of will, it is something that we allow into our lives through the influences of the world and social pressure. God warns people not to get drunk, not because he wants us to have no fun, but because he wants us to enjoy life and avoid the serious problems that drunkenness brings.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
The United Nations is the Illuminati. Their aim is one-world governance. The powers and money behind the United Nations is the same power and money that was behind the Illuminati when they first formed, and it is the same power and money that was behind the French, Russian, and Chinese revolutions. It is the same power and money behind the so-called democratisation of the Muslim and Arab world today. It is the same power and money behind every human rights organisation on earth. They are all struggling for the same cause, all marching beneath their trite little banners of world peace and an end to poverty. The hidden truth behind their banners however is somewhat more terrifying.
The United Nations has declared that every human being has a right to life. Chapter and verse please. That statement, though couched in fancy religious robes, is not scriptural. Does the United Nations really believe that homosexual monsters that rape and murder little boys should be protected from justice and not executed for their horrific crimes? Obviously, they do. Everyone has a right to life, they say, and they go out of their way to stop us from executing the bastards.
What about the human rights of all the sodomised and murdered young boys we keep hearing about? They are even raping and murdering babies now. Does the United Nations care more about protecting monsters from justice than in protecting our children from them? Obviously they do, but why? That is the question we should be asking about the United Nations. Why does the United Nations protect such criminals and do nothing to provide justice for our murdered children? Could it be that their leaders indulge in such practices? Well, who is running the world?
The United Nations stands in direct opposition to the bible on justice. God's word is clear on the use of the death penalty. So, we have a choice to make. Are we going to put our trust in God and his word, or in the Illuminati United Nations and its words?
What the bible says about homosexuality is what God thinks about homosexuality. God instituted the death penalty for homosexuality, not me. I am merely telling you what the bible says. If our courts are protecting homosexuals and our schools are promoting it as a healthy lifestyle to our children, then something is seriously wrong. So the next time some young boy gets raped and murdered by homo paedophiles, don't go blaming God, blame the United Nations because they are responsible. They are the ones who have dismantled the laws that God told us to put in place to protect us and our children from such foul creatures.
If people understood the god of this world, no one would do anything for him. He knows this, so he hides from view. From behind the scenes he entices, seduces, and bribes those within his grasp to do his bidding. Fortunately, quite unlike the true God, the god of this world is not all-knowing, nor is he all-powerful, nor is he everywhere present. He can only be in one place at one time.
Job 1:7
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Since the god of this world isn't all knowing and isn't everywhere present, he must have some kind of worldwide intelligence network in place in the senses realm through which he remains informed. The god of this world doesn't depict himself as an all seeing eye for no reason. Obviously, these earthly operational networks are shrouded in secrecy and mystery to keep them concealed. Indeed, we even refer to them as secret societies. Secret societies have been around since Nimrod, back in the book of Genesis. There have been so many of them, and they are so veiled in mystery and intrigue, that it is almost impossible to track them and to know what is going on within them.
On May 1, 1776, Adam Weishaupt, founded a secret society that he called the Order of Perfectibilists, which later became the Order of Illuminati.
Secret societies, as the term implies, like to remain secret, hidden from view.
Most of this misinformation and deception has been disseminated by secret societies themselves to cover their tracks. Weishaupt himself wrote:
"The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment; let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always covered by another name, and another occupation . . . Of all the means I know to lead men, the most effectual is a concealed mystery. The hankering of the mind is irresistible."
According to the vast majority of the information now available on the Internet regarding Weishaupt and the Illuminati, Weishaupt was ineffectual, he denounced the Illuminati before he died, the Illuminati was destroyed in Bavaria, and there is nothing to worry about. If you believe that, you need to change your source of education and replace the Internet, along with your televisions and newspapers, with a source a little more reliable, like the word of God. Just because the devil conceals himself from view does not mean he does not exist.
I have the right to choose what I believe. I choose to believe God's word rather than the words of the United Nations. I choose to think of homosexuality as the depraved, disgusting perversion worthy of death that God's word says it is.
No, I don't hate homosexuals. I love them enough to tell them the truth and give them an opportunity to change. Nor am I homophobic. I'm not afraid of them in the slightest, which is what a phobia is. It is time to warn our children against homosexuality and prevent the world from grooming them for it.
The United Nations won't like my stance?
If they have a problem with God and his word, I suggest they take their grievances up with him. You make up your own mind. The world stands in active opposition to God's word because the devil is the god of this world.
The United Nations and the legions of human rights and environmental organisations it has spawned over the last few decades claim they are fighting for freedom and peace. However, when you take a closer look behind the slogans they march through our media you will soon realise that all the so-called human rights they champion are being doled out to monsters and criminals, while good honest people are being stripped of their rights to protection from them.
Secret society members control the world. They hold all the top positions and all answer to the same people at the top of the pyramid of secret societies. The World Bank, The United Nations, The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), The Trilateral Commission, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Department for International Development, The World Health Organisation, The International Red Cross, Greenpeace, CND, Amnesty International, the World Council of Churches - to name but a few - are all controlled by the same men and all work together towards the same goal - the dismantling of all sovereignty worldwide and the institution of a single world government. Did you know that at the time of writing this, there were 1500 newspapers, 100 magazines, 9000 radio stations, 1500 TV stations, and 2400 publishers worldwide owned by just 3 companies? That is how the god of this world controls what you think.
All the world's top terror and criminal organisations are secret societies.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
If we want an abundant life, we must come back to the word of God and walk in the way of life.

 Homosexuality: The Way of Life
Section three

The world may change our laws and call homosexuality normal healthy behaviour, while at the same time criminalising those who dare to stand against them, but the word of God stands.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Promoting homosexuality is calling evil good, while prosecuting those who stand against them is calling good, evil. Promoting homosexuality is putting darkness for light, and bitter for sweet. This is the way of life in the 21st Century in this category. Choose wisely your way.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
If we want an abundant life, we must come back to the word of God and walk in the way of life. To further our understanding of this, let's consider a record from the old testament.
Genesis 19:1
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

It was customary in that day for residents of a community to lodge and entertain travellers. There were no newspapers, televisions, or Internet in those days, and as travellers brought the latest news from around the country, this was a mutually beneficial arrangement. This was their bed and breakfast system - news in exchange for lodgings. Lot had room in his house, and he was doing what was customary by offering hospitality. On this particular evening however, unknown to him, he met two angels.
Genesis 19:2-5
And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
It says the men of the city, both young and old, from every occupation and lifestyle, surrounded Lot's house and demanded that he hand over the two men that they may know them, or have homosexual relations with them. This is unrestrained homosexual gang rape. Sound familiar? It is happening all around us in the 21st Century. How do cultures become infested with homos like this? So called human rights and tolerance, of course. Look, this is God's word. This is the way of life. Look around you, the way of death is everywhere.
Genesis 19:6-10
And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

The homos of Sodom were going to gang rape Lot for daring to confront them. If homosexuality is not dealt with according to God's word, this is where it always leads, to gang rape, violence, and murder.
Homosexuality is not normal behaviour, it is a disease. It is abhorrent and those who become so depraved they indulge in such practices, according to the word of God, should be executed. Homosexuals are not born, they are recruited. It is not genetic.

These last few decades have seen an increase in sexual violence around the world that is staggering. It is due entirely to the legalising of homosexuality - granting homosexuals and lesbians protection by law - and by censoring news reports so as not to expose their brutal sexual predations. In the old testament, God's people were to stone them to death. They were not to be tolerated, they were not to be given jobs as politicians, they were not to be ordained as ministers and priests, they were to be stoned to death. Not only did God advocate the death penalty for homosexuality in the old testament, he had Paul warning us about it in the very first chapter of the book of Romans. What about Jesus Christ then? What did he think? He was all love, right? (stay tuned)!

Homosexuality: The Way of Life
Section FOUR
Homosexuality: The Way of Death
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
There is another record in the old testament where a man, his wife, and his servant were travelling through Israel. As night fell, they entered Gibeah, a city of Israel, to seek lodgings.

Judges 19:15
And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.

To understand why he sat in the street, we have to understand that it was their culture to look after the needs of travellers. All the bed and breakfasts were closed even though there were vacancies. This traveller was observing the correct cultural protocols in seeking lodgings for the night. However, no one took them in.

Judges 19:16-21
And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.

And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou?

And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to house.

Yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.

And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.

So he brought him into his house, and gave provender unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink.

Finally, one old man of this city extended kindness and courtesy to the man. This traveller was not poor because he was sitting in the street, quite the contrary, there was no want of anything. He was simply looking for bed and breakfast in the customary manner.

Judges 19:22
Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

Here we go again, unrestrained homosexual gang rape and violence. No wonder all the bed and breakfasts were closed - no one wanted the homos breaking down their doors at night to gang rape their guests.

Judges 19:23-29
And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.

Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.

And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.

And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

Just for the record, the bible does not advocate or condone lynching, public riots, or civil unrest, it advocates administering justice through existing judicial systems. Those in government are responsible for how they govern the countries to which they were elected to serve..

Choose wisely your way.
Like the true God, the devil is also spirit, and just as the true God needs men and women to teach and minister so as to bring light to people's minds, so the devil requires men to move his darkness.

Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

The prince of the power of the air, the devil, the god of this world, determines the course of this world. The devil promotes his agendas through the world by way of those who work for him. Without men and women working for him, the devil would have no power or influence in the physical realm. Adam and Eve handed this authority and power to the devil when they fell, and it is this authority and power that the devil uses to mobilise his forces. Always remember though, that our fight is not against people.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness from on high are all clues as to how the devil manipulates things through the senses world. Spiritual wickedness that steals from us, kills us, and destroys us has a source from which it emanates.
Evil is intelligent, it is systematic, it is bold, it is powerful, and it has a rich purse. The word consistently warns us about the nature of this world.

Philippians 2:15
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Do you love the political systems of the world? Do you love the power, dominion, and authority of the world? Do you love freemasonry, communism and one world governance? If you do, you lack understanding of the spiritual nature of life.

According to the word of God, homosexuality is a perversion so foul it warrants the death penalty. Just a few decades ago, homosexuality was a criminal offence both in the United States and in the United Kingdom. What happened to those excellent laws that kept us protected from them? Who dismantled them?

In the past few decades homosexuality has been promoted on television, in our newspapers, in the movies we watch, in the books we read, the art we enjoy, the music we listen to, and in every other form of art and entertainment imaginable. It is even being taught in our schools to our children. We kiss our children on the cheek in the morning and send them off to spend their day being groomed for homosexuality in our State run schools. This is an example of the truth of Isaiah 5:20.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
What about Jesus Christ then? What did he think? He was all love, right? (stay tuned)!

Godliness - Our Walk in Life

                                                                      Godliness

1 Timothy 6:11
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

As a man of God, Timothy was told to follow after, or pursue, godliness. The Greek word used for godliness in this verse is eusebeia. Eusebeia is a real, true, vital spiritual relationship with God and is the opposite of threskeia (religion) which relates to the acts of religious observances or ceremonies. Religion is an outward act performed by sense knowledge man in an attempt to show God or others his piety. Godliness is a true spiritual relationship which comes from having holy spirit within and walking with God.

The book of Timothy was written to a young leader in the body of believers to whom Paul was passing on much of the responsibility of keeping the Word alive and moving. Eusebeia is used eight times in the book of 1 Timothy.

1 Timothy 2:1-4
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We want to live honest, quiet, peaceable lives walking in all of the true, vital, spiritual relationship with God that is available. Therefore, God exhorts that we talk with Him, we make requests of Him, we ask Him to intercede, and we give Him thanks when it comes to living in this world where men are ruled by their own selfish needs and desires and where men have authority over us via governments. It is by exercising our true, vital, spiritual relationship with God in prayer for those who have influence around us in the world that we are able to live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. We want to walk in the abundant spiritual relationship that God has made available without interference from the laws and rules of men. That does not mean we do not live within the confines of the laws of our lands. It means looking to God to keep our lands free from laws and decisions of men that would obstruct our freedom to live according to God and His Word. It means praying for kings and those in authority. It means going to God and trusting Him when it comes to living in this world. The focus is not on the act of prayer to show men how religious we are; the focus is on the true, vital, spiritual relationship we have with God that allows Him to work in the situations in our life that are influenced by the men around us.
It is God's will that ALL men get born again, saved, and ALSO that all men come unto THE knowledge of THE truth. To that end we pray for men to believe and we walk with God in that true, vital, spiritual relationship. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God who sent His son to save us and to make it available for us to live our lives in godliness.

1 Timothy 3:16
[We are speaking of "godliness" here - NOT the identity of God!What is godliness(?), a verb of believing conduct, yea, a lifestyle - by definition: a true and vital relationship with God.]
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God [WHICH - the Greek word "ho" - means: Which] was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

"The mystery of godliness" is the Greek genitive of origin and can be understood in English as "The Great Mystery which produces godliness." The Great Mystery is that which God hid in Himself regarding the spiritual relationship that would be available to us in this day and administration of grace. We are able to walk in a true, vital, spiritual relationship with God today because of the fullness of that which God made available to us on the day of Pentecost. The richness of that which we received was so big that God hid the knowledge of it in Himself until He revealed it to the Apostle Paul. It is the knowledge of that which we received that produces a true, vital, spiritual relationship with God. Here in Timothy, the Great Mystery is outlined in this verse:

It was manifest in the flesh: On the day of Pentecost it became available for all - Jews and Gentiles - to get born again and have holy spirit within. It became available to walk in a true, vital, spiritual relationship with God. The Mystery of what God prepared for us before the foundations of the world was manifest in the flesh and seen for the first time as the 12 Apostles spoke in tongues on that wonderful day. A knowledge of that which came on the day of Pentecost and how to operate all nine manifestations of the spirit in our life produces godliness in our walk.

It was justified in the Spirit: In the new birth all - Jews and Gentiles - are spiritually justified. Because of the walk of Jesus Christ and our acceptance of his substitution for us we have received from God justification. Spiritually it is "just as if we never sinned." The Great Mystery includes our justification. A true, vital, spiritual relationship includes walking with God in the knowledge of our standing before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. The knowledge of our justification produces godliness in our walk.

It was seen of angels: Ephesians 3:9-10 says And to make all men see what is the fellowship [administration] of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ [not in text]: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, A knowledge of the Great Mystery of our administration is made known to all, including angels and spiritual powers, by us: by the church. A true, vital, spiritual relationship with God includes making known the administration of the mystery to all principalities and powers in heavenly places. It means walking a spiritual walk in which we recognize the existence of spiritual powers in the world and the true spiritual nature of life. As we make known the mystery of that which God has given to us, the knowledge of this mystery produces godliness in our walk.

It was preached unto the Gentiles (nations): Ephesians 3:8 says Unto me [Paul] who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; Unsearchable is untrackable. The knowledge of what was to become available and that all nations - Jews and Gentiles - were to be included was not trackable in the Word of God given in the Old Testament. This mystery was first made known to the Apostle Paul after the day of Pentecost. The grace of God given to us is available to every man! A true, vital, spiritual relationship with God includes teaching the world about that which God has made known unto us. As we make it known, by preaching, the knowledge of this mystery produces godliness in our walk.

It was believed on in the world: Romans 10:9-12 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek [Gentile]: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. When we share with the nations what it takes to get born again and receive the great benefits of the mystery some will respond by believing. Making known the mystery includes taking action - believing - that which you hear. A true, vital, spiritual relationship with God includes believing the Word of God once we hear it. As we act on a knowledge of the mystery of God, it produces godliness in our walk.

It will be received up into glory: A knowledge of the Great Mystery of the grace of God includes our hope for the return of Christ and our gathering together unto him. As we walk in a knowledge of the mystery of God we look toward our hope. The believers will be given new spiritual bodies and meet the Lord in the air. It could be today! A true, vital, spiritual relationship with God includes keeping our eyes on the hope of Christ's return. Walking in a knowledge that we will be received up into glory (as was the Lord Jesus Christ) produces godliness in our walk.

This summary of the whole mystery was given by Paul to Timothy to produce godliness in opposition to the religious acts that all too often replace the true, vital, spiritual relationship with God in many peoples lives.

1 Timothy 4:7
But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

In the context of this verse Timothy was told that some believers would depart from the true, vital, spiritual relationship of godliness and begin to teach others a variety of religious practices such as forbidding to marry and don't eat meat. Religion is the OPPOSITE of godliness. You cannot walk in a true, vital, spiritual relationship with God if your worship consists of ceremonies and religious acts. The Word of God calls these acts a departure from right believing, doctrines of devils, hypocrisy, and profane old wives' fables. We are to practice [exercise] godliness not religion. That does not mean that we don't sometimes have a ceremony or stop eating meat for awhile. It does mean that the things we do will be a reflection of what is right to do at a particular time because our true, vital, spiritual relationship with God is directing our paths. When the acts become more important than our relationship with God then we are just being religious. What we do outwardly should be a manifestation of our inward walk with God. We do not practice religious acts to reach or please God. We have a relationship with Him and we act because we already have access to Him and we already are pleasing to Him.

1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

We are to exercise [practice] godliness. In this verse exercising godliness is compared to physical exercise of the physical body. Physical exercise profiteth little (or for a little while), but godliness is profitable for all eternity. It is OK to keep physically fit - helps you have the energy to move the Word. But our physical bodies are temporary. They wear out and eventually die. But our true, vital, spiritual relationship with God is eternal. We have the great promise of an abundant life now and all eternity to spend with our heavenly Father. Which is more important: Our physical life or our relationship with God? We ought to spend time exercising our true, vital, spiritual relationship with God for that is profitable unto all things and for all time.

1 Timothy 6:3
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

Wholesome words - the words of the Lord Jesus Christ - doctrine - is to be according to the standard of our real, true, vital, spiritual relationship with God and not according to the commandments and doctrines of men. Doctrine is how to believe rightly! What we teach regarding how to believe rightly is to always be according to the standard of godliness. The man who teaches otherwise follows this downward path:

1 Timothy 6:4-5
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting [having a sick appetite] about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

It begins with pride. A man thinks he knows it all and has himself as the standard for truth rather than God and His Word. The Word of God says this man KNOWS NOTHING! Then he begins getting a sick appetite for questions. He becomes hungry to question the Word of God and find fault with it. He begins fighting over words. These actions produce envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, and perverse disputings. This man's mind has become corrupt and is destitute [without] a knowledge of the truth. In the end this man comes to the conclusion that gain [material abundance] is godliness. He thinks that a true, vital, spiritual relationship with God is the same thing as having THINGS in abundance. The Word of God says that when a man acts like this we are to withdraw or excuse ourselves.

1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

In contrast to the man who thinks that gain is what godliness is all about, a real, true, vital spiritual relationship with God and being content with what God provides you is very great gain. No matter what it is that you have or want in this life you can be content if your focus is on your relationship with God. In Philippians 4:11 Paul said that he had learned to be content in whatever situation he found himself. He could live in abundance and he could live in need. The key to contentment in your life is godliness. If your relationship with God is such that He is the supplier of all your need then you can be content with that which you have. Godliness with contentment is very great gain.

1 Timothy 6:11
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

In conclusion, pursue a real, true, vital, spiritual relationship with God. All other things will fall in place when your walk with God is right.

Who really is our redeemer?

This is for all to understand the love that God has manifested forth for his children:

You think you know your Bible! Who is your redeemer?

The Nicene Creed is primarily responsible for the Trinitarian doctrine that is ingrained in the Christian religion today. Even so, modern versions of the bible offer a slim basis for Trinitarian beliefs. The most prominent passage that contains a Trinitarian formula is Matthew 28:19. It says, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." A fourth century scribe, Eusebius, quoted Mathew 28:19 eighteen times using the words "in my name" rather than "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". After the Council of Nicaea I, however, Eusebius thrice quoted the same verse using the Trinitarian formula. This shows the powerful impact that the Nicene decision had on the subject of the person of Christ (Wierwille).
The following are excerpts from the book “Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed” by Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille.
Dr. Wierwille states “…As the Messiah, Jesus Christ had to fulfill certain genealogical requirements promised in the Old Testament among them, (1) he had to be a descendent of Adam; (2) he had to be a descendent of Abraham; and (3) he had to be a descendent of King David. The Old Testament further stipulated that the Messiah’s royal lineage would trace its way through King David and Solomon. Finally besides being the son of Adam, Abraham, and David, the Messiah would also have to be the Son of God. That Jesus Christ had all of these qualifications will become indisputably clear in studying his conception and genealogy.
Jesus Christ’s genealogy, as with all people, was determined by his mother and her predecessors and his father. So in researching God’s Word for the great truths of Jesus Christ’s genealogy we need to begin by noting certain details regarding his conception…”
Mat 1:18
(18) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost [Holy Spirit].
“…Before they came together” means that before Joseph and Mary had sexual intercourse Mary was already pregnant, and the child she was carrying was conceived in her by God, who is the Holy Spirit…”
Luk 1:35
(35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
“…Therefore, from a physical, genetic point of view, Jesus Christ’s Father was God and his mother was Mary. Joseph, Mary’s husband, became Jesus’ human father by the circumstances in which he found himself, but not by his genetic contribution. Joseph by God’s direction accepted the responsibility of rearing Jesus as a son in his household.
There is no question that the Bible teaches divine conception, that God was literally Jesus Christ’s Father. In any conception there are two necessary elements: the egg and the sperm. The egg is supplied by the mother, who in this case was Mary. The sperm is supplied by the father, who in this case was God, who is the Holy Spirit. Being Spirit, God did not, of course, have sexual intercourse with Mary, for spirit cannot cohabit with flesh. Rather, by divine creation, God put seed inside Mary [I would add that if Mary had sex with God she would no longer be a virgin who gave birth.] That is how Mary, who had never had sexual relations, had Jesus conceived within her. This is the miracle of Jesus’ conception…[And…only Mary fulfilled all the prerequisites necessary in order to carry the promised seed. God said He would have an only begotten Son, and He chose Mary in whom to create the seed that would give birth to that one Son.
There are several genetic and physical considerations involved with Jesus Christ’s conception. The Bible teaches that all men since Adam are born “dead in sins” (Eph 2:5). Man is conceived and born with a sinful nature. Psalms 51:5 states, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Romana 5:12 states, “Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all have sinned.”
Not only is man born spiritually separated from God, he is born physically with sin, corruption, and impurities in his blood and in his soul life. This soul life which is the natural life of man, and attested to by a person’s breathing, is found in the blood.
Lev 17:11
(11) For the life of the flesh is in the blood…
While the mother and father both make genetic contributions to the flesh and blood of a child, the soul life in the blood is contributed by the sperm, the seed. It comes from the male side. In the conception of Jesus Christ, this truth is pointedly stated in Hebrews.
Heb 2:14
(14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers [Greek: “koinoneo,” to share fully] of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part [Greek: “metecho,” to take a part or portion] of the same [flesh and blood]…
All children share fully of both the flesh and blood, genetically passed on to them since Adam and Eve the first man and woman, but Jesus Christ took only part. He did not share “fully.” Here in Hebrew 2:14, the figure of speech “metonymy” of the adjunct is found, in which the word “blood” is used to represent the soul life in the blood. This usage of “blood” is common in the Bible, especially when it is used with the term “flesh,” which here is used for the physical part of man as opposed to the soul part. In partaking of the flesh and blood, all people have inherited their bodies and their soul life from Adam and his descendants. This soul life in the blood is corrupt with a sinful nature inherent within it.
This is why it is necessary to understand from Hebrews 2:14 that Jesus Christ “took part of the same.” What part did he take? He did not “share” fully in both the flesh and blood of man. Physically, according to the flesh, part of Jesus’ genetic makeup came from Mary. However, the soul life in his blood was not inherited from Mary, Adam, or any other human being. The life of the flesh is in the blood, according to Leviticus 17:11, and the life within the flesh of man, within his blood, is corrupt. But Jesus Christ’s came from God. That is why Jesus Christ’s soul life was conceived without sin or corruption.
As we have seen, natural life, which is called “soul life,” is in the blood. Sin is transmitted through this soul life, in other words, through the blood, and not through the flesh. That is why Hebrews 2:14 is such a tremendous statement. How marvelously God arranged for a child to be conceived that would be completely a man, having complete freedom of will, but also having a sinless nature.
With masterful foresight God prepared for the sinless birth of His Son, Jesus Christ, from the very beginning. In order to produce a sinless man descended from Adam, God provided a way whereby Jesus would have a human body derived from Adam’s line, yet uncontaminated by Adam’s sinful soul life. To accomplish this, God created the sperm containing a perfect soul life which impregnated the egg in Mary’s fallopian tube. Therefore, the dominate characteristics of the genes determining the makeup of Jesus Christ came from his Father, God.
The miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ was his divine conception in Mary. His birth [itself] was not miraculous, for like any infant he developed within Mary’s womb and was born according to natural processes. But, the miracle of his divine conception enabled man’s redeemer to come into the world as a sinless, perfect human being, yet having the freedom of will to sin or not to sin; to believe or not to believe God. God did not go beyond any of His previously instituted laws to bring His son into the world.
Understanding all of this, many scriptures concerning Jesus’ descent from the linage of David become much more meaningful. That is why the following scriptures are so accurate.
Act 2:30
(30) …that of the fruit of his [David’s] loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ…
Rom 1:3
(3) Concerning his [God’s] Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which [who] was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.
These verses do not say Jesus Christ was of the seed of David “according to the flesh and blood.” That would be totally inaccurate. These verses all say “according to the flesh,” for Christ’s soul life in his blood came from God. It did not come from David or David’s descendant, Mary. But physically, according to the flesh, Jesus Christ can properly be said to be of the seed of David. That is the great accuracy of these key verses of scripture…”
In his book Dr. Wierwille then goes through the details of the genealogy of Jesus Christ showing by the scripture that both Joseph and Mary were descendants of King David. It’s way too long to add here but after covering Jesus’ genealogy Dr. Wierwille continues with the following paragraphs.
“…A person’s standing in a family was normally recognized by the lineage of the father. From a human point of view Jesus needed patrilineal credentials in order to function in a society built upon paternal genealogy. He would not be accepted in the Judean society without a pedigree traceable through both parents. Since few would believe that on his Father’s side he needed no pedigree, his Father being God, he had to have socially acceptable credentials through the human being whom society considered to be his father, Joseph. Since Joseph assumed the responsibility for Jesus as his son, it was Joseph’s line that gave Jesus full legal standing in the house of David. Whereas Joseph’s genealogy listed in Luke 3 gave Jesus his standing in the House of David by the assumed responsibility of Joseph, it was in truth the genealogy listed in Mathew 1 which gave Jesus Christ true standing in the House of David with the right to inherit his throne by the family line and genetic contribution of Mary.
The genealogy given in Luke 3 is not Jesus Christ’s royal lineage. Mathew 1 indicates his royal lineage from Solomon and others who sat on David’s throne...
…Both lineages, - that of Mary, in the Gospel of Matthew, and that of Joseph, in the Gospel of Luke – have Abraham and David common to their ancestry. Since Joseph assumed the responsibility as Jesus’ father, this gave Jesus during his earthly walk a legal standing in the house of David. But as Mary’s son by birth, Jesus had more than legal standing in the House of David; because of Mary’s genealogy, Jesus Christ was descended from the royal line of the House of David, so that he could genetically and legally inherit the throne of David. Being conceived by the Holy Spirit (who is God) Jesus was the true and only begotten Son of God, the “ssemah” or offspring of God.
Jesus was the offspring of Mary and God. Thus he was born with no sinful nature in him, yet he was totally a man, a male child who would have to mature and learn in order to complete his God ordained mission. As the offspring of both God and Mary, the Christ came into the world fulfilling all the genealogical requirements of the promised seed: he would be a descendant of Adam, of Abraham, and of David. He would also be the only begotten Son of God, the promised seed, God’s perfect plan for man’s redemption.”

Mark 13:32
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

He is the literal son, the offspring of God. He was born, as we were born, made of a women according to the flesh. The seed was supplied from God, for Mary had not known a man, by sexual relation, up to the point of conception.
Remember, conceived by the Holy Spirit, a term for God, his Father.

Concerning Jesus Christ: You believe that he was both God and man? This is a biological impossibility! He was made(born) of a woman as all of us. His genetics were superior, because his soul life(sperm) was by God's creation in Mary. God is eternal and immortal; God can not die; God can not be born; God is Spirit; God has no form or comliness. Jesus Christ is simply the offspring of God, the only-begotten, the same yesterday(refers back to his beginning, his birth) today and forever( for he has eternal life); even as we. His soul life is seperate from ours, not after Adam. Hebrews 2:14 tells us that he "took part" only, of flesh and blood; the part that he took was the flesh, after man(Adam), for his blood(soul life) was of divine conception. Leviticus 17:11 tells us that, the life(soul) of the flesh is in the blood. This allowed for his blood to be uncontaminated by the sin nature from the first man, Adam, as ours is: Hebrews 2:14, again; "we are all partaker's of flesh and blood", after Adam. Jesus as a Youth -- Jesus Christ grew up like any other child. Genetically he had many advantages, but he was still a person, a human individual, who had to develop and utilize his learning processes like any other human being. He was not God. God is unchangeable, God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. God would not have needed to grow and learn, but Jesus Christ did. Luke 2:40: "And the child grew, and waxed strong, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him." Luke 2:46: "... they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions." Yes, Jesus grew strong & was being filled with wisdom. God in the Bible is said to be immortal! He cannot die, therefore, but His uniquely begotten Son (Luke 1:35) died, and he is therefore not God, but the sinless Man mediator between God (the Father) and mankind. I Tim 2:5 says it perfectly. It is an abuse of the precious gift of language to say "the immortal God died." Just impossible nonsense!

THE GIVER and HIS GIFT -- The Holy Spirit is God(Jehovah) our Creator(Elohim). The God and the Father of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the offspring of God, only begotten, physically, by Divine conception of God, the Giver; Holy Spirit! God's gift is holy spirit, which is power from on high. We are baptized by this gift from God, the Giver.

"And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke 24:49.
"And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me."For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence." Acts 1:4-5.

"endued with power from on high" Luke 24:49.

Consider this work of research and historical evidence.

John 20:30,31
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Mark 1:1
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Mark 1:11
And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark 9:7
And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Even devil spirits called Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Matthew 8:28,29
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

These verses are extremely clear - Jesus Christ is the son of God. In this context, it is quite astonishing to learn that there is not one single verse anywhere in the entire bible that says that Jesus is God the Son. The phrase God the son does not exist in scripture. Fifty times Jesus Christ is called the son of God and not once is he called God the son. Take that to any court of law in any country in the world and I think you would find it declared as conclusive evidence as to who Jesus Christ was. However, let's explore further. Can God be tempted with evil? This is rhetoric, of course.

James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Pretty clear? God cannot be tempted with evil. It is just not possible, end of story. Now compare that with these verses:

Luke 4:1,2
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest [referring to Jesus Christ] which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jesus Christ endured temptation. In fact, he was tempted in all things just as we are. If it is impossible for God to be tempted with evil, and Jesus Christ was tempted with evil, then how could Jesus Christ be God? Another difference between God and Jesus Christ is their distinct and separate wills.

Matthew 26:39,42
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

If Jesus Christ is God, then to whom was he praying? Himself? Jesus Christ clearly had his own will, which was distinctly his own and completely separate from God. Two distinct and separate wills clearly indicates two distinct and separate beings.

John 4:34
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 6:38
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Jesus Christ could not even nominate who sat on his right hand and on his left hand in his Father's kingdom. No disrespect, but he was hardly all-powerful then, was he?

Matthew 20:23
And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Jesus Christ was obedient and did his Father's will, not his own will. If Jesus Christ was God, these scriptures are absurd. Yet another problem arises when we consider the following two verses.

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

No man means no man. The scripture is clear. No man, no one, no human being has ever seen God. Did anyone ever see Jesus Christ? Yes, quite a few million during his lifetime I would guess. If Jesus Christ is God, then words have no meaning.

The doctrine of Jesus Christ being God becomes even more ridiculous when we read this verse in John.

John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

We can do greater works than Jesus Christ did. That is what this verse says and that is what this verse means. Since the day of Pentecost, it has been available to do greater works than Jesus Christ did while he was here on earth. If Jesus Christ is God, then according to this verse we can do greater works than God, which is absolute nonsense. The doctrine that Jesus Christ is God is easily exposed as religious horseshit when illuminated with rightly divided scripture.

In the following verse, Jesus Christ himself obviously knew that he wasn't God otherwise he would have said something like, 'thanks for calling me good because I am God.'

Matthew 19:17
And he [Jesus Christ] said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Here is another interesting verse.

Matthew 1:18
Now the birth [gennēsis] of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

The word birth is the Greek word gennēsis, from which we get our English word genesis. Genesis means beginning. There can be no doubt as to the meaning of the word genesis. Its meaning is not open to debate. Jesus Christ had a beginning and it was right here in Matthew when he was born. Jesus Christ was not around before this point in time. His birth was his beginning, his genesis.

So, where does the doctrine that Jesus Christ is God come from? It is interesting to note that most, if not all of the ancient religions had a trinity. The Hindu trinity was Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Greek trinity was Zeus, Athena, and Apollo. The Roman trinity was Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus. The Sumerian trinity was Anu, Enlill and Ea. The Egyptians had quite a few trinities, including Osiris, Isis and Horus.

We can track trinities through pagan religions back to the dawn of time. The heathen belief that gods visit the earth in human form is nothing new.

Acts 14:8-11
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith [believing] to be healed,

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men! This pagan belief that gods visit the earth in human form has been rife among those with no understanding of spiritual matters since prehistoric times. The belief that Jesus Christ is God who visited earth in human form has its roots in heathen paganism, not the bible.

Perhaps we should now consider a few of the manipulated and twisted scriptures used to teach that Jesus Christ is God. Here is perhaps the most abused scripture in this regards:

John 10:30
I and my Father are one.

Okay, for the sake of argument, let's assume that this verse does indeed teach that Jesus Christ is God. Let's forget about all the previous verses we've looked at, let's forget about the fact that there are fifty verses that clearly state that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that there are no scriptures anywhere in the bible that say he is God the Son. Let's ignore all the scriptures we've seen that highlight the differences between Jesus Christ and God, and let's pull this one verse totally out of the context of the rest of the bible and use it to teach that Jesus Christ is God. Okay, now that we've done that, check out these verses a few chapters later, where Jesus Christ is praying.

John 17:20-22
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Okay then, if John 10:30 teaches that Jesus Christ is God, then John 17:20-22 teaches that I am God too and so are you. The trinity is religious horseshit. To gain an understanding of what John 10:30 is talking about, we must examine the immediate context.

John10:27-30
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I and my Father are one.

Verse 28 declares that no man shall pluck the sheep out of Jesus Christ's hand, while verse 29 declares that no man is able to pluck the sheep out of his Father's hand either. Then verse 30 immediately follows when Jesus Christ states that he and his Father are one. One in what? In that no man is able to pluck sheep out of their hands. Is reading the context so difficult? The word translated one here is the Greek word hen, which is in the neuter gender, and means one in purpose. One and the same person would be the Greek word heis - the masculine gender. Consider this following use of hen:

1 Corinthians 3:6-8
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one [hen]: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

When it says that Paul and Apollos were one, does this mean they were one and the same person? How ridiculous! Paul and Apollos were not the same person any more than God and Jesus Christ were the same person. They were one in purpose - likeminded. This logic can also be applied to the following verses.

John 1:1,2,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Do these verses say that Jesus Christ was God? Not if language has any rules. It says the word was there in the beginning with God, not Jesus Christ, and that the word was later made flesh in the form of Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, assume for the sake of argument that John 1 does indeed teach that Jesus Christ was God and that he was there in the beginning with him. Okay, now compare these verses from Ephesians and Thessalonians.

Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

According to Ephesians and Thessalonians, God also knew about us back in the beginning before the foundation of the world. So does that mean we were actually there? Yes, we were there in the beginning with God, just like Jesus Christ. This is true. However, these verses are referring to God's foreknowledge. We were not literally there with him back in Genesis, no more so than Jesus Christ was literally there. Jesus Christ had his beginning, his genesis, when he was born, just as we did. So what are these verses in John saying?

John 1:1,2,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

What these verses tell us is that Jesus Christ epitomised the word during his life by being a living example of it. It was the word that was there in the beginning and Jesus Christ lived it to such a standard during his life that we could see the living word in him as a breathing reality. We could look at Jesus Christ and see God's word living in someone. We too can live the word to such a degree that we are living epistles, and that doesn't make us God anymore than it made Jesus Christ God.

2 Corinthians 3:2
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

When the word says we are epistles, known and read of all men, does that mean that we are God? No, it simply means we bring the word to life by living it, so that others can see the word in our lives. To teach Jesus Christ was God because he lived the word is just as ridiculous as saying we are God because we live the word.

This is not an exhaustive work on the subject. Most of the other scriptures used to teach that Jesus Christ is God are forgeries, but I don't have the time to write a book on this, that's already been done. It's time to move on, but suffice to say that we have shed a little light into what is perhaps the darkest regions of religion possible. Why do I say that? Because to worship anything or anyone other than the true God is idolatry, and worshipping Jesus as God is exactly that - idolatry. Jesus Christ was not God, he was a man, a human being.

Romans 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This, of course, entrenches the doctrine of the trinity clearly within the framework of idolatry. To worship a man as God is idolatry. Therefore idolatry is the foundation stone on which Roman Catholicism and vatican doctrine is built. If you didn't know this, then apologise to God, move on and put it behind you.

Our True Hope is NOT Death

The false doctrine that the dead are alive and already in heaven or hell is so well entrenched in the average Christian's mind that he has probably never considered its harmful ramifications. Understanding that Satan is the "father" of this lie explains why the consequences of believing it are so serious. The first, and perhaps most serious, consequence of believing this doctrine is that it changes the Christian's focus from the appearing of the Prince of Life, Jesus Christ, to the coming of one's own death.

How sad it is to teach God's people that the hope of a Christian is his own death, and how opposed to God's perspective that death is an "enemy," as 1 Corinthians 15:26 (KJV) clearly states: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." Biblically, death is a thief not a benefactor. Death takes away life; it does not give a greater life.

In attempting to preserve the traditions of historic, orthodox Christianity, such teaching that the "dead" are "alive" blatantly contradicts God's Word and further entrenches the Christian Church in this error. Those who have mistakenly propounded this doctrine have apparently overlooked the many verses plainly stating that the focal point of a Christian's hope is not his own death, but the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ from heaven. For example:

John 14:2 and 3 (KJV)
(2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
(3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 (KJV)
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 17 (KJV)
(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Titus 2:13 (KJV)
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

It is the occasion of Christ's appearing from heaven that Christians should anticipate as the way of deliverance from the bondage and corruption of death. Jesus Christ is the only gateway to everlasting life and the only means by which believers will have access to God's presence in Paradise. When Jesus Christ comes again, he will fashion new, glorious bodies for us (Phil. 3:21). Apart from having these new bodies, there is no hope of entrance into the presence of God. Near the end of his life, the Apostle Paul wrote the following about this occasion:

2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Shifting the event that triggers our entrance into the presence of God from Christ's appearing to our own death is nothing short of satanic subterfuge. In the minds of many, Satan has subtly changed the gateway to eternal life from Jesus Christ to death itself. Considering the past actions of God's archenemy, this clever trick is totally consistent with his methods. The Christian's hope is not death, but the appearing of Jesus Christ. When he appears, each Christian who is still alive will exchange his mortal body for a glorious immortal body, and each believer who has died will be raised to glorious and everlasting life.
